Synopsis: Drama. During World War II, a group of Jewish-American soldiers in France terrorises the occupying German army by scalping Nazis. Meanwhile, a cinema owner devises a plot to assassinate the Third Reich's high command in one fell swoop. Unbeknownst to her, the Basterds also get wind of the rare opportunity to bring the war to an end in one night, and they set their own plan in motion. German Colonel Hans Landa watches over much of the action, seeking out Jews, spies and traitors to the Nazi campaign.Synopsis: In competition at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival.
